• The hardwood timber decked pontoons, which include readily accessible, top loaded power and service ducting, are joined together with silent hinges. The state-of-art Walcon flexible marina system dramatically reduces operational servicing and maintenance costs.
• As a mark of its further flexibility, Walcon floating marinas are
adaptable. The berth and finger configurations can readily be
adjusted to meet future changes in berth size demand.
Mooring line cleats are quickly adjustable to suit any particular
vessel configuration.
• Walcon decking is aesthetically pleasing and adds to the nautical ambience of a marina. It is a natural alternative to concrete pavement decking.
• Any specific requirements can be designed and integrated into a Walcon floating marina. Our systems can also be easily incorporated into any existing marina or new development.
• Walcon’s floating marina system is fully endorsed by the Boating Industry Association of NSW. In 2002, Walcon was awarded a 5 x 5 year contract to supply and install the temporary marina in Sydney’s Darling Harbour used for the Sydney International Boat Show.
