WMA implementation came about in 2000 after meetings between Peter Stanley & Robin
Walters (founder of Walcon Marine Ltd based in UK). Both could see there
was an opening within the Australian marina industry for a floating jetty system
that offered a quality alternative to what was already available on the market.
Robin
was looking to introduce the Walcon floating system; well known throughout
various countries, to Australia and hoped that he could establish a
local company that would maintain the same values as the UK based Walcon
Marine.
Peter & his wife Roz were keen to initiate a family business and welcomed the opportunity to join with Walcon Marine (UK) and introduce
the Walcon systems to Australia.
Since this introduction WMA has been structured
as a true family business and the whole team is committed to offering a professional
quality service.
